Amazing 3D

This is an amazing little engine you got here. Actionscript 2? I've been working on something and I was thinking to myself how hard would it be to make sort of a Wolfenstien 3D engine? Well, you did it. You should make an entire game, maybe speed it up a bit. But awesome stuff.

its good

This is a great game but what I'd like to see here (for maybe the next game) is a faster character, more action and more viewing space (possibly by making the character smaller and everything else.

Very cool although a little slow

The graphics looks very much like the original. The blended scenes and animation is very similar and I think you've succeeded well on that. I'm curious how you edit levels. Is it all on the stage?

A suggestion for hit detection if you have no already done so - Only hit detect things that are near the player. You can break down the scene into parts and only have hit detection for the part the player is in. This will make the game a lot faster.

Nah the map with static tiles is just a big bitmapdata thats blittet on the screen.. very efficient technique!

Yes hit detection is only active then the enemy/item is on the screen.. However this game was really badly programmed after all :)

Still as good as it was and better

Wow, I know its been at least 2-3 years since I played the first. I was so addicted. This is such a great update. Excellent update.

Good and original twist, maybe some improvements?

I think this is a great idea for a game, and I think someone could really advance their skill at this game. Great twist on Astroids. The only thing I'm sort of dissapointed with is that I have to click to continue to the next wave. Maybe a good thing to do here is just try to make it easy at possible for the user to advance and stay addicted. Use the spacebar to advance, and make a bumper interval so the user wont advance by mistake when the level is over. I have to compliment that the shooting and explosions were done quite well.

Great little game. Needs to be improved.

Okay...here's the thing. It's a very good effort. The filter that you did with the graphics is spot on, and the musics great and also the fact that you created different modes of play is cool.

Some things that could be updated, is the computer player could be a lot more difficult, or have varying levels of difficulty. Try making is so that the speed off the ball goes a little faster after each time it has a colision. I understand it goes a different speed depending on where the ball hits the paddle. There's also an issue I found with paddle collision: Even though I hit it on the edge it went in front of me just for a sec, then it went behind me making me lose a point!

You should repost this with the improvements made!

sucks

WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK? This shit fucking sucks because you got a template (that was shitty) to make your [own] tetris game with a horrible background and added music that only pussies listen to.

you rock

Cool I think its pretty rad. I was playing it while I was eating a peanut butter sandwich. I like the different backgrounds too, nice touch. The letter entry is also a bomb placement and the text noise is also getting a heart!

COOL FUN GOOD JOB

YAR

Dude this is amazing.. I was just trying to search for 3D mazes on Newgrounds, but then I was suprised to see someone also making a maze generator. I think you programmed this a lot better than what I have so far! Excellent job, and nice, clean graphics.

great jorb der homestar

I like the travel effect of the player. Good jorb with that.

Suggestion: add obstacles.

Be original! Make new!
